The Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs
I need to find a freeware application that can do vector maps, and sort social science data?
I need the application to do the following:
*work in a browser
*freeware
*Use vector maps
*have a feature where you can alter variables, including dates, etc., to change the appearance of the map.
I found the precise application a year ago, but my computer crashed and I can’t find it again!
What Canadian universities have the best grad programs in Computer Science?
In particular, I’m interesting in distributed systems and computer networks.
Please note that I’m referring to GRAD programs and not undergrad programs, so please don’t just say Waterloo without backing up that assertion. Thank you. 
Has anyone gone to Western Governors College? Other online programs in computer science and able to find jobs?
I am looking into online programs for computer science. My concern is the quality of the programs and the crediability of the degree to employers when hiring. Other programs I am looking at are University of Maryland University, and other public colleges offering online programs in computer science.
Does anyone have any suggestions or comments on colleges they went to that employers would hire employees from to the same degree as a traditional college program. I don’t have any prior experience in computer. Although I am taking some computer science courses at a community college, including math courses. I also have an AA degree.
