How do I turn on my antivirus program with etrust antivirus program?

My computer crashed months ago with some viruses and they installed etrust antivirus program. My automatic update system is “on” and my “firewall” program is on. But, I have this red shield with a white “x” in it that says my antivirus program is off and I need to turn it on, but can’t figure out how to do this. Can anyone explain to me in very simple terms how to turn it back on?
